Gwalior News: Varun Sharma, Gwalior Naiduniya. Harishankar Raje has created a successful business model by turning disaster into opportunity. Harishankar Raje, who has studied M Pharma and MBA, has successfully moved towards organic fertilizer production instead of job. He has started the start-up of Vermi Compost (Earthworm Manure) by taking advantage of the schemes of Agriculture Department.
Harishankar has now become a job-seeker and not a job-seeker through a start-up named Secure Evergreen Bio Organic Fertilizers. Harishankar Raje, a resident of village Ganeshpura of Murar tehsil of Gwalior district, says that during the nationwide lockdown aimed at curbing the global epidemic corona, I found a way to start my start-up. They say that taking inspiration from the call made by the Prime Minister to the countrymen to convert the disaster into an opportunity at the time of lockdown, we took steps towards organic manure production. Harishankar says that during the lockdown, we got primary information regarding starting a Burmese compost production unit through YouTube and Google search engine etc. When the lockdown was relaxed, we reached the office of Krishi Vigyan Kendra and Aatma Yojna in detail to get information about starting Burmese compost production. Young entrepreneur Harishankar Raje says that we first started the production of organic ie earthworm manure by setting up a five-bed Burmese compost unit at our own expense. We used the earthworm manure produced from it in our own farming, which gave very encouraging results. Giving earthworm manure instead of chemical fertilizers not only increased the production but also did not cause diseases like other years in the crops. After that we thought of setting up a Burmese compost start-up commercially. For this I needed financial help, so we filled the application for getting loan grant under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program run by the Khadi and Village Industries Department. Soon we will get financial assistance of 15 lakh rupees under this program.
Approved, which included 25 percent grant. Under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program, Harishankar Raje has established a 145 bedded Burmese Compost Start-up in his 2.5 bigha area. They tell that from this start-up, we have sold earthworm manure worth about two lakh rupees only last month. A profit of one lakh to 10 lakh rupees can be earned from this business at very low cost. He says that earthworm is a big source of manure.
is seeking. The complete earthworm compost produced by our start-up is easily consumed in Gwalior and surrounding areas. We will further expand our business.
