Arjun Jatav, resident of Raja Mandi of Gwalior police station area, reached the fort last night and started drinking alcohol while sitting on the turret of the fort. Here he lost his balance and fell down. He got injured when he got entangled with a tree branch while falling down and called for help. Dev Singh, a resident of Noorganj heard his voice and tried to search, but he was nowhere to be seen injured. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, he informed ASI Ramkumar Mishra and Bhagirath Prasad in the police control room. On which constable Bhupendra and Bhola from FRV 40 and Bahodapur police station reached the spot and searched, it was found that the youth was stuck on the tree. On coming to know about the time of night and the youth being alive, the officers out on night patrol also reached the spot and also called the SDRF team. SDRF and police reached the spot, after running a three-hour rescue operation, brought the youth down from the tree and with the help of crane dragged the youth up and admitted him to the hospital. The injured told the police during interrogation that he had come to drink alcohol after leaving his wife and his leg slipped. At the same time, the doctors after examination have declared his condition as serious.
