Gwalior Sanitation Survey 2022: Gwalior, Naidunia Rep. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on 2 October 2014 to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of a clean India. This campaign has become a mass movement. In the Swachh Survekshan, we have to bring our Gwalior to the first place in cleanliness. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Kishore Kanyal said this in the workshop of school operators and officials of the Education Department organized under the Swachh Survekshan 2022. In the workshop, officials including directors and teachers of the city’s schools were present. We have to take a pledge not to throw garbage on the road, he said.
Heaps of garbage found step by step: To know the status of cleanliness, Municipal Commissioner Kishore Kanyal once again visited the city. They found dirt in many places. Municipal Commissioner Kishore Kanyal reached the Murar river with the officials. Here they got dirt. Expressing displeasure, he gave instructions for cleaning. They came near Akashvani to inspect the drain. Here also they did not find the situation satisfactory. The Municipal Commissioner gave instructions to the concerned officers to organize the park in Basant Vihar. They found garbage in the open space near Bhau Saheb Potnis. A pile of garbage was found near Indramani Nagar before the Murar crematorium. Inspected Krishna Nagar water tank behind the fair ground. They also found dirt in Chetakpuri.
Door to Door Vehicle Supervisor Start your work immediately: Municipal Commissioner Kanyal instructed all the supervisors appointed for door to door vehicles to join their work immediately. Otherwise disciplinary action will be taken against them. Along with this, all the supervisors appointed for door to door vehicles should go door-to-door to make the general public aware of giving wet and dry waste separately. Along with this, the tipper driver and helper should also make the general public aware about giving wet and dry waste. We have to segregate dry and wet waste from each house.
