However, the entry of Muslims in the mosque was not banned. At the same time, the Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing in the Gyanvapi case till Thursday, May 19. Supreme Court says it can issue notice, till the next date of hearing we will issue a direction that DM Varanasi will ensure that the Shivling area will be protected but it will not hinder the entry of Muslims to the mosque for prayers.
