There was a plan to get Hanuman Chalisa recited outside Matoshree
In fact, earlier this month, Ravi Rana had demanded Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to recite Hanuman Chalisa at his residence. Also, if the Chief Minister did not do so, it was announced that he would recite Hanuman Chalisa in front of Matoshree on Saturday. The Rana couple had said on Friday that they would recite Hanuman Chalisa at 9 am on Saturday outside Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray’s private residence ‘Matoshree’ in suburban Bandra.
Shiv Sena workers reacted sharply to Rana’s announcement. Following this, on Saturday, Ravi Rana announced that he and his wife were canceling their plans so that no law and order problems arise ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Mumbai on April 24.
