New Delhi. A letter was issued on behalf of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena President Raj Thackeray saying that on May 4, you should play Hanuman Chalisa at all those places where azaan is done through loudspeakers. The effect of this ultimatum given by Raj Thackeray was seen across the state. In many places, MNS workers also tried to read Hanuman Chalisa outside mosques. However, due to this apprehension, the already prepared soldiers have controlled the situation. Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey himself is touring at different police stations in the city.
Raj Thackeray has now shared a video of his uncle Bal Thackeray on Twitter amid the ongoing ruckus in the state over Ajan and Hanuman Chalisa. In this video, Bal Thackeray is heard saying that the loudspeakers installed on mosques will be removed from the day our government is formed in Maharashtra.
Bal Thackeray opposed the loudspeaker
Late Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray had openly opposed street prayers and azaan through loudspeakers installed at mosques. He had talked about this in his speech as well. In his speech, Bal Thackeray had said, ‘The day our government will come in this Maharashtra. We will not sit silent on that day without stopping the Namaz on the road. Because religion should be such that it should not come in the way of the development of the nation. People should not be bothered by it. If anyone is facing such problem in our Hindu religion, then come and tell us. I will arrange it. But these loudspeakers will definitely come down from the mosque.

Why shared Bal Thackeray’s speech?
After Shiv Sena quitter Raj Thackeray shared a years old video of uncle Bal Thackeray, questions are being raised as to why he shared it. What do they want to tell the public by sharing the video of this speech. Do they want to tell that Shiv Sena has become secular leaving its real issues. Well, by sharing this video of uncle Bal Thackeray, what Raj Thackeray wants to tell, he can explain it well there. Now it has to be seen when his statement comes out on this.
