Hardik Patel, working president of Gujarat Congress has quit the party. He has resigned from all party posts and primary membership. The Patidar leader himself has given information about this by tweeting. Tweeting his resignation letter in English, English and Gujarati, Hardik Patel wrote, ‘Today I courageously resign from the post of Congress Party and primary membership of the party. I am sure that my decision will be welcomed by all my colleagues and the people of Gujarat. I believe that after this step of mine, I will be able to work really positively for Gujarat in future.
Congressmen were accused of shunning themselves
Hardik Patel had been angry with the party for a long time and was constantly questioning the state leaders and the high command. With only a few months left for the assembly elections in Gujarat, Hardik Patel’s resignation has dealt a blow to the Congress. Hardik Patel had said that he has definitely become the working president of the Congress, but he has not been given any responsibility and the leaders are constantly trying to sideline him. Hardik Patel had accused the state unit leaders that they wanted me to leave the Congress. Not only this, he said that the Congress is very weak in the state and at present it is not seen in a position to win the elections.
Hints of joining BJP by mentioning Ram temple and 370
For many months, there has been speculation about Hardik Patel joining the BJP. With his resignation, Hardik Patel has also indicated that he may join the BJP. Referring to Ram Mandir, CAA, Article 370 and GST in his resignation, Hardik Patel said that the solution of these issues was necessary for the country, but the Congress continued to hinder them. It is believed from his remarks that he may join the BJP. Hardik Patel said that whether it is about India, Gujarat or my Patel community, the agenda of the Congress has been only to oppose the central government.
Congress accused of disdain, said – there is hatred for the youth
Hardik Patel has also accused Congress of insult in his resignation. He wrote, ‘It is the religion of every person active in politics that he should continue to do something for the public. But it is a matter of regret that the Congress party does not want to do anything good for the people of Gujarat. So when I wanted to do something for Gujarat, Congress only despised me. I did not think that the leadership of the Congress keeps this kind of hatred in its mind for our state, society and especially the youth.
