New Delhi. Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan held an official meeting with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in New Delhi. During this, there was a discussion between the two leaders about the successful organization of the national conference of urban local bodies to be held in Gurugram. It was decided in the meeting that the National Conference of Urban Local Bodies will be held on July 3 and 4 in Gurugram. The Haryana Legislative Assembly will host this important national event. Vis President Harvinder Kalyan thanked the Speaker of the Lok Sabha for providing an opportunity to host the Haryana Legislative Assembly.
Kalyan said that public representatives, experts and policy makers associated with urban local bodies from across the country will participate in this conference. The conference will focus on urban development, local self -government and empowerment of civil services. Significantly, Haryana Legislative Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan is preparing on a large scale to make the national conference of urban local bodies a success. In this connection, he held a meeting with the state government and senior officials of the Haryana Legislative Assembly in the Legislative Assembly Secretariat on Monday and discussed in detail.
In this meeting, Vikas Gupta, Commissioner and Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, Additional Director Y. S. Gupta, Director General of Department of Information, Public Relations, Arts and Cultural Affairs, K.M. Many senior officials including Pandurang were present. Earlier on June 5, a meeting was held in Gurugram to prepare for this conference. The arrangement of the conference was closely discussed in this meeting. Nodal officers are being appointed for each arrangement.
