No special festival in June although banks will remain closed for 9 days
The second wave of Corona has affected the functioning of banks across the country. Meanwhile, many banks have changed their opening and closing times. Most of the banks are advising their customers to use facilities like net banking and mobile banking. But if you have to go to the bank, then you also need to know on which days the banks will be closed in the month of June starting from today.
Let us tell you that unlike other months, there is no special festival in June. However, this month the bank will be closed for 9 days. Most of it is a weekly holiday. According to the Reserve Bank of India, banks will remain closed on June 15 in Bhubaneswar and Mizoram due to the festival of Mithun Sankranti. Apart from this, banks will remain open in different parts of the country. On June 6 and June 13, being Sunday and June 12 being the second Saturday, there will be a bank holiday on these days.
Apart from this, banks will remain closed due to June 20 and June 27 being Sundays. Also, on June 26, being the fourth Saturday, there will be a closed band. Let us tell you that keeping in mind the situation of lockdown in different states during the time of Corona, the working hours of the bank have also been fixed. In Gujarat, the government has allowed banks to function from 9 am to 2 pm daily.
Significantly, after the second wave of corona, the country is seeing a gradual decline in infected cases at this time. But the country has not seen a decline in deaths due to corona.
