New Delhi. Indian wicketkeeper batsman Dhruv Jurel may be being compared with Mahendra Singh Dhoni, but this young player says that no one can match the former captain of Team India. Jurel says that Dhoni is only one and will remain only one. 23-year-old Dhruv Jurel says that he would like to focus on making his place in international cricket. Jurel started his international career in the recently concluded 5-match Test series against England. He did amazing work behind the wicket in his debut series. Jurel proved his usefulness in batting also. He was also seen guiding captain Rohit Sharma in the matter of DRS.
Former Team India captain Sunil Gavaskar is also happy with the brilliant performance of Dhruv Jurel. Gavaskar compared this right-handed batsman with MS Dhoni. However, this promising son of a Kargil war warrior thanked Gavaskar for comparing him with Dhoni and he also said that personally I believe that no one can repeat what Dhoni sir did.

‘Dhoni sir is a legend’
Dhruv Jurel said in ‘India Today Conclave’, ‘Dhoni is only one. Always were and always will be. For me, I just want to be Dhruv Jurel. Whatever I do, I want to do it as Dhruv Jurrell. But Dhoni sir is a legend and he will always remain so. Jurel said that Test cricket is the real cricket and getting the India cap was his dream which came true. This (getting a Test cap and getting man of the match) is not over yet. I was sure that I would play Test cricket someday and it has happened. It was like a dream come true for me.
Made a target of playing 200 tests
Dhruv Jurel, a resident of Agra, says that he always wanted to play Test cricket. He said that when he was playing Under-19 cricket, he had set his target of playing 200 Tests. However later he realized that this was not possible. At the age of 12, Jurel used to travel alone from Agra to Noida for training.
