Mangala Tiwari/Mirzapur: Strong sunlight and hot winds have increased the risk of heat stroke. In view of the increasing impact of heat stroke in many states, the Health Department has issued an alert. Preparations have been intensified after the alert in Mirzapur district also. Along with preparing a separate ward for heat stroke in the divisional hospital, adequate staff and medicines are being arranged so that no one faces any problem. With the increase in temperature, the effect of heat stroke will also increase in Mirzapur, in view of which the health department is leaving no stone unturned.
SIC of Divisional Hospital, Dr. Tarun Singh said that the Government of India has issued an alert regarding heat stroke. Preparations for heat stroke have been completed. A separate dedicated ward is being made for this. Adequate quantity of medicines are being arranged along with a 30 bed ward. Arrangements for paramedical and nursing staff will be made along with the doctor. He said that heat stroke will have more impact this time, for which preparations have been completed.
Heat Stroke Symptoms
Dr. Tarun Singh told that if suddenly one feels weakness. Vomiting or diarrhea started. These are symptoms of heat stroke. He told that many people feel dizzy. At the same time, unconsciousness begins to set in. This is also a symptom of heat stroke. If you are facing such problem then immediately go to your nearest health center and get treatment. In hit stroke, there are mostly complaints of vomiting and diarrhea. Patients should not take this lightly.
Avoid going out in strong sunlight
Dr. Tarun Singh told that to avoid heat stroke, avoid going out in strong sunlight. If you are going out of the house or going on the terrace, then definitely use a towel or umbrella. Travel by bike in bright sunlight only if absolutely necessary. Do not let there be any shortage of water in the body. If you feel thirsty, drink water immediately.
