New Delhi. Summer is at its peak in many parts of the country. It has become impossible for people to come out of their homes. In the last few days, there has been a sudden increase in temperature. According to the Meteorological Department, there is not going to be any relief from the heat for some time to come, but the heat is going to break all the records. In many places the temperature has crossed 45 degrees. The heat has broken records in Gurugram and Delhi. Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 43.7 °C on 18 April 2010, which was the maximum temperature for that month. At the same time, for the first time in 12 years, Delhi has recorded a temperature of 43.5 degree Celsius.
Heat breaks all records in Delhi and Gurugram
In Gurugram too, the heat has broken the record. Gurugram recorded a maximum temperature of 44.8 °C in April 1979. Now a temperature of 45.6 degree Celsius has been recorded there. Not only this, IMD has also issued an alert for many states in view of the scorching heat. Also, an orange alert has been issued for heatwave conditions in the plains of Delhi-NCR and Northwest India. This alert has been issued by the department till May 1. Apart from this, an alert has also been issued for Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, UP and Odisha. Because some parts of these states have recorded a temperature of 45 degree Celsius.
Heat at its peak in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh
The heat will be at its peak in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh for the next four days. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in both these states for the next four days. It is estimated that the temperature may cross 45 degree Celsius in 4 days as well as heat wave will continue. An advisory has been issued by the department to avoid heat wave. Heat stroke can be dangerous for infants, the elderly and people with chronic diseases. In such a situation, everyone needs to take care of themselves.
