According to the Meteorological Department, heat wave is going to be seen in North Goa, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal. The Meteorological Department has issued a special warning for heatwave in Mumbai, Thane and Raigarh of Maharashtra. The temperature in Mumbai and Thane can reach 38 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a heatwave in North Goa. At the same time, heat wave havoc can be seen in Telangana till 18th April, in Andhra Pradesh till 18th April and in the Ganga coastal areas of Odisha and West Bengal till 19th April. Severe heat warning has also been issued in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Gujarat.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be severe heat in Thrissur, Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad, Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Kasaragod districts of Kerala till next Sunday. To protect yourself from heatwave, do not go out in the sun in the afternoon. If necessary and leaving the house, drink plenty of water. Always keep the stomach full of food and water. Mango juice also prevents heat wave from affecting the body. If there is a heat wave, then continuously wipe the body with a cloth soaked in water to cool down the body. In case of fever, keep a compress of cold water on the head. Keep giving salt and sugar solution to the heatwave victim continuously, so that dehydration does not occur.
