Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him to visit Himachal Pradesh on the occasion of completion of 8 years of the Central Government. During his meeting with Prime Minister Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday, the Chief Minister also requested the Prime Minister to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for various projects related to the development of Himachal Pradesh along with the AIIMS hospital being built in Bilaspur. Discussions were also held between the two leaders regarding the incident in Dharamsala, the Khalistan and Himachal Pradesh assembly complex.
Talking to the media after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that eight years of the glorious tenure of the Modi government are going to be completed. On this occasion, he has requested the Prime Minister to come to Himachal Pradesh on 31st May and organize a program. Expressing his gratitude to the Prime Minister for the continuous cooperation being given by the Central Government in the development of the state, he also requested him to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for various projects related to the development of Himachal Pradesh. Giving information about the incident at Dharamsala assembly and Khalistan, the Chief Minister said that in this case, one of the accused Harvinder Singh son Rajinder Singh has been arrested by the police on Wednesday morning. He said that the accused has confessed to the allegations of painting Khalistani flag and mural on the wall in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh Assembly Complex. The Chief Minister said that with the joint efforts of Himachal Pradesh Police and Punjab Police, the second accused Vineet Singh would also be found and arrested soon. Jai Ram Thakur said that the State Police has obtained search and arrest warrants from the competent court of Dharamsala by following all the legal procedures.
Earlier, Jai Ram Thakur met the Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya in New Delhi, informing him that the work of AIIMS hospital being built in Bilaspur would be completed by July this year. requested.
