New Delhi. Hockey World Cup 2023 was launched by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Odisha. Hockey fans are extremely excited. The Indian men’s hockey team took on England in their second match of the FIH Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 today. India has held England to a goalless draw in this match. The match between the two teams was played at the Birsa Munda Stadium in Rourkela.
Let us tell you that after playing a goalless draw with India, England have now retained the top position in Pool D. England will now take on Spain in their final Group D match of the Hockey World Cup. On the other hand, hosts India will face Wales in Bhubaneswar on January 19. It may be noted that the Indian men’s hockey team, captained by Harmanpreet Singh, had earlier registered a 2-0 win against Spain in Pool-D. India had scored both their goals in the first half of the match itself. For that Amit Rohidas and Hardik Singh scored one goal each. He presented a spectacular game for his team.
