Meanwhile, Olympic medalist Bajrang Punia has announced that wrestlers will soon hold a mahapanchayat. Addressing the ‘Sarva Samaj Samarthan Panchayat’ in support of wrestlers at Mundlana in Sonipat district, Poonia requested the speakers not to announce any decision. He said that in the next 3-4 days the wrestlers would call a ‘mahapanchayat’. He said, ‘We will hold a mahapanchayat… We will decide the place. We want to bring everyone together for that panchayat, we do not want to be divided.
