The problem was due to the failure of the impellers in the fuel pump and the failure of the engine.
New Delhi, April 16 (IANS)| Automobile major Honda Cars India on Friday announced a voluntary recall of 77,954 cars, including its various car models. Actually the company is going to replace the fuel pump of these cars. According to the company, the impellers in the fuel pumps of these cars may wear out and over time the engine may stall or even not start. In such a situation, the company has now decided to start the process of replacing them.
The company said in a statement that this process of fixing will start from Saturday i.e. April 17, 2021. This will be done free of cost at HCIL dealerships across India in a phased manner and the car owners can contact in person.
The company says that currently only limited staff is present at the dealership due to safety rules, so customers are advised to take time before going to the dealership, so that there is no problem. The recalled cars include Amaze, 4th generation City, WR-V, Jazz, Civic, BR-V and CRV.
