People can easily clean the wooden floor with a vacuum cleaner. But in India, it becomes a bit difficult to take care of the wooden floor. Most of the people clean it with water like a normal floor, due to which this floor gets damaged quickly. Know what precautions should be taken while cleaning the wooden floor?
How should wooden floors be cleaned?
vacuum cleaner- Use a vacuum cleaner to clean wooden floors. Do not use the rotating brush in the vacuum cleaner. Use only the floor brush attachment for this. Yes, you should clean the floor quickly so that the dust does not enter. Dust particles can leave marks.
Do not use wet mops- One should avoid using wet mops on wooden floors every day. When some marks appear on the floor, then wet mopping can be done. However, wooden floors can also be cleaned by wetting them after 1-2 months. But let the floor dry immediately by switching on the fan or opening the doors.
Use of cleaner- However, water resistant wood is used in wooden flooring. This means that it does not get damaged even after cleaning with water. This does not mean that you should use more cleaning solution. If necessary, wipe the floor with a dry cloth after cleaning.
Steam cleaning- Do not use a steam cleaner if the floor has a wax finish, the finishing is very old or has been cut in many places. If cleaning with steam, keep the level at the lowest. Instead of keeping it focused on just one spot, keep moving it all over the floor.
