Step 1: First of all go to the UIDAI website and tap on My Aadhaar
Step 2: After this you have to click on ‘Order Aadhaar Reprint’ option
Step 3: Now you will be asked to enter the 12 digit Aadhaar number. Users also have the option to enter a 16-digit Virtual Identification Number (VID) instead of the Aadhaar card number.
Step 4: After this you will be asked to enter the captcha code
Step 5: Now, if you want to download Aadhar card without registered mobile number then click on ‘My mobile number is not registered’ option
Step 6: After this you will need to enter your non-registered or any mobile number
Step 7: Then you have to click on ‘Send OTP’. After this you will get a One Time Password (OTP) on your phone number. Users will also be asked to click on the ‘terms and condition’ checkbox. After that you have to click on submit button.
Step 8: Now you will be redirected to a new page on which option of ‘Preview Aadhaar Letter’ will be available and here you will be able to see the preview of PVC Aadhar card. After this you have to make the option of Make Payment. You can download the preview of PVC Aadhaar Card by paying Rs.50.
Step 9: After making the payment, a digital signature receipt will be issued, which can be downloaded by the users in PDF format. After this, a 28-digit service request number will be sent to you through SMS.
Step 10: UIDAI sends the printed Aadhaar card to the Department of Posts within 5 days of receiving the application for Aadhaar PVC Card. Please note that Aadhaar PVC card is not sent through Speed Post service. The Aadhar card is delivered by the Department of Posts at the address entered in the Aadhaar database.
It is to be noted that to download the Aadhar card in PDF format, you will need to submit a digital signature. Through the service request number issued by UIDAI, you can track your application state till the arrival of Aadhar card.
