Yasin Malik Terror Funding Case: A once-terrorist, Kashmiri separatist leader Yasin Malik has been convicted by a Delhi court in a terror funding case. On this, Shalini alias Nirmal Khanna, wife of Air Force officer Ravi Khanna, has expressed happiness and hoped that her husband will get justice. Yasin Malik is accused of being involved in the murder of Squadron Leader Ravi Khanna, who was gunned down by terrorists with 27 bullets. He should thank God that according to all the bad deeds he has done, he has not got any punishment yet.

He said that it is ironic that Yasin Malik is called the Gandhi of the valley and innocent people like us who are killed by him are troubled for justice. Even I had to fight for my pension and had to go to court. That’s why I now expect justice from the court itself. Demanding justice, 70-year-old Nirmal Khanna has said that Yasin Malik should be hanged. Shalini Khanna while talking to Hindustan Times said in 2019, ‘Yasin Malik had not only killed Squadron Leader Ravi Khanna but also my mother-in-law, father-in-law and mother. Two of my children had lost their childhood and in a second our happiness was destroyed. This terrorist has destroyed our entire world.

Apart from this, trial is going on in the case of kidnapping Rubaiya Saeed, daughter of the then Home Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. However, Yasin Malik and Shaukat Bakshi have also not been convicted in this case. Yasin Malik founded the militant organization Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front, which was banned by the central government in 2019 under the Anti-Terror Law.
