The upcoming ICC T20 World Cup matches will be played under the joint hosting of West Indies and USA. The first match of the tournament will be played between USA and Canada on 2 June at 6 am as per Indian time. Before the start of this tournament, ICC has also given an important responsibility to Shahid Afridi, former captain of Pakistan team and part of Pakistan team which won T20 World Cup in 2009. ICC has selected Afridi as the ambassador of the tournament. ICC had earlier selected Yuvraj Singh, Usain Bolt and Chris Gayle.

If we look at Afridi’s T20 International career, he has scored 1416 runs in 99 matches and has also taken 98 wickets in bowling.
