These days the weather in India is changing day by day, in such a situation, people driving vehicles are facing many problems, while fog is one of the main reasons for hindering driving in winter season. Keeping this in mind, the Noida Traffic Police has asked people to stick reflective tapes on their vehicles due to weather conditions and poor visibility. Not only this, the Noida Police has also pasted such tapes on pillars and barricades, as they sometimes act as blind spots for vehicles.
At present, the traffic police has made it mandatory to put reflective tapes on vehicles. While generally, all private vehicles including four and two-wheelers are fitted with a reflector on the rear of the vehicle, the traffic police will promote awareness among citizens to re-check their reflectors. Let us tell you, the police launched a campaign to paste reflective tape on the DND Flyway toll plaza.
However, reflective tape is also essential for vehicles such as trucks and tractors, as they are often the cause of serious accidents, and drive on roads without proper lights or reflectors. Implementing this rule, police will impose a fine of Rs 10,000 on vehicle owners without reflective tape, which will be charged under the MV (Motor Vehicle) Act.
