Oceanographic Center has issued a strict warning regarding the coastline of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Due to Kalakkadal, there has been a warning of storm along the sea coast in both these states. There is a possibility of big waves and storm along the sea coast in both the states from early Saturday till late Sunday night.
According to the Indian National Center for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS), there is a possibility of strong waves along with the storm on the coasts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu on Saturday and Sunday. Going to the beach in both the states from 2.30 am on Saturday to 11.30 pm on Sunday is not without danger.

Fishermen and people living close to the beach have been warned. There is also a possibility of erosion in the land along the seashore due to strong waves. Fishermen have been asked to keep their fishing vessels firmly tied to the shore and ensure that their vessels remain safe even in case of land erosion. The Oceanography Center also said that keeping two ships away from each other will reduce the possibility of collision and there will be no risk of loss.
Order to vacate the beach by 10 pm
It is advised to keep all the equipment used for fishing in a safe place. There is a complete ban on going to the sea shore or doing any work in the sea. Orders have been given to evacuate people from all the beaches on the seashore by 10 pm on Friday night.
