In Himachal Pradesh, there was a stir as Khalistani flags were displayed outside the gate of the assembly complex. After the matter came to light, the police went to the spot and took him off. The statement of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has also come to the fore. He has challenged and said that if you have the courage, then come forward. The CM tweeted, “I condemn the cowardly incident of raising Khalistan flags at the gate of the Dharamsala assembly complex in the dark of night.”
He further said, “There is only winter session in this assembly, so there is a need for more security arrangements here during that time.” Taking advantage of this, this cowardly incident has been carried out, but we will not tolerate it. A speedy inquiry will be conducted into this incident and strict action will be taken against the culprits.
Challenging Jairam Thakur said, “I would like to tell those people that if they have the courage, then come in the light of day, not in the dark of night.” Black flags were reported at the gate. Police is engaged in intensive investigation.
