New Delhi. After the removal of Article 370, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Kashmir for the first time. On Thursday he will unveil several development projects and address a public rally in Srinagar. However, before the PM’s rally to be held in Srinagar tomorrow, people of Kashmir are receiving threatening calls, warning them not to attend the PM’s public meeting. According to sources, Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI is making calls on mobile and landline phones to reject the PM’s rally in Kashmir. Local residents are receiving calls from various international phone numbers. He is being threatened on phone to stay away from the PM’s rally to be held tomorrow. As soon as this information was received, security forces and intelligence agencies were put on high alert.
Prime Minister Modi will attend the ‘India Develop Jammu and Kashmir’ event at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar and inaugurate projects worth about Rs 5,000 crore aimed at boosting agriculture and economy in the Union Territory. This includes national level projects worth over Rs 1,400 crore related to the tourism sector under the ‘Swadesh Darshan’ and ‘Prasad’ (Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Enrichment Drive) schemes, which also includes a project for integrated development.

Apart from announcing the selected tourist destinations under the Challenge Based Destination Development (CBDD) scheme, the PM will also launch the “See Your Country People’s Choice Tourist Destination Poll” and “Let’s Go India Global Diaspora” campaign. PM Modi will distribute appointment letters to around 1,000 newly appointed government employees in Jammu and Kashmir and hold discussions with beneficiaries of various central schemes, including women, farmers and entrepreneurs.
