Darbhanga. In a dispute between two wives in the Biraul police station area of Darbhanga district of Bihar, a wife took such a step in the fire of vengeance that the whole family was ruined. The first wife, who was burning in the fire of vengeance, sprinkled petrol and set the house on fire, killing two. The first wife was also among the dead.
A police officer said that Khurshid Alam, a resident of Sheikhpura Mohalla, was married to Parveen Biwi about 10 years ago, but it is being said that Khurshid remarried Roshni Khatoon due to lack of children from her.
Meanwhile, a dispute started between the two wives. It is alleged that Khurshid and his first wife Biwi Parveen also had frequent fights over Roshni. It is being said that Parveen did not want her husband to have any relation with his second wife Roshni Khatoon.
It is alleged that on Friday night also there was a dispute regarding this, after which Parveen set the whole house on fire by sprinkling petrol. In which all the four members of the house including Parveen were badly burnt.
Biraul Deputy Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar told -AnyTV News that Parveen and her mother-in-law Rufaida Khatun died on the spot in the incident, while Khurshid and Roshni sustained severe burns. He said that the police reached after getting information about the incident and sent the injured to the hospital.
Here, sources say that the scorched Khurshid and Roshni have also died in the course of treatment, although this is not yet confirmed by the Biraul police. The Deputy Superintendent of Police said that the police is investigating the whole matter.
