Jaipur . The ‘Intensive Natya Workshop’ concluded with the staging of the play ‘Teen Tapper’ at Rangayan of Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) on Monday evening. The workshop was organized under the joint aegis of JKK and Sarthak Theater Group. The play ‘Teen Tapper’ written by Nag Bodas was directed by senior theatrical director Sabir Khan. About 18 young theater workers trained in the workshop performed in this play. Among the performing artists, Harsh J. Kaushik, Naveen Yadav, Bhanus Verma, Nupur Verma, Yashika Dolwani, Priyajanli Hada, Aishwarya Singh, Abhigya Kumawat, Vikas Atal, Sanjay Gandhi, Tanmay Jain, Sandeep Swami, M.Daksh Dhawan, Vishwajit Singh Rathod, Pradeep, Rajat Swami, Priyanshu Bhargava, Sushil Swami were present. The lighting was done by Ujjwal Mishra, the sound was done by Naveen Dabi and the clothing was done by Roshan Ara.
The play Teen-Tapper narrated the tales of the poor and the rich, who spend their nights on a small piece of land by putting grass and tin roofing on the earthen walls. Suddenly one day their laughter turns into tears and screams, when they learn that a multi-storey building will be erected there after destroying their teen-tappers and evicting them. This play is a document of crores of such people.
