New Delhi. In Madhya Pradesh, the ruckus has intensified over the political battle of urban body elections. There is going to be a direct contest between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress in the civic polls. But a big news is coming out regarding the civic body elections to be held in the state. Which is no less than a big setback for the Congress party. In fact, there are 109 such urban body wards in the state where the BJP has achieved success without even entering the fray. BJP candidates have registered uncontested victory at 109 places in different urban bodies of the state. The date for withdrawal of nominations for the urban body elections in the state has passed and the election campaign has gained momentum. Councilors have been elected unopposed in one ward in the BJP’s municipal corporation, 12 in the municipality and 96 wards of the city council in the state. BJP candidates have registered uncontested victory in 109 places.
Let us inform that out of 15 wards of Shahganj Nagar Panchayat of Sehore district, BJP has won the entire 15 wards. Apart from this, the party has won 15 wards out of 15 wards of Barodiakalan Municipal Council of Sagar district. Whereas Malthon won 12 wards out of 15 wards, 11 out of 15 wards of Bandri won, 6 wards of Datia municipality of Datia district.
BJP state president MP Vishnudutt Sharma said that BJP candidates have been elected unopposed as councilors in 109 wards of various municipal corporations, municipalities and municipal councils in the municipal elections of the state. This is a big victory for BJP’s policies of good governance and development.
Congratulating all the councilors elected unopposed, State President Sharma said that this is a wonderful example of coordination, harmony and cooperation. This shows that the people’s faith in the policies of BJP has increased continuously and together we will fulfill the resolve of development in the local elections.
