In the first day’s auction, a total of 73 diamonds weighing 114.4 8 carats in 21 trays were put up for auction. 3 big diamonds of 14.09 carats, 13.54 carats and 6.08 carats were auctioned in the auction. 14.09 carat diamond was auctioned for Rs 45 lakh 25 thousand 708, while 13.54 carat diamond was auctioned for Rs 41 lakh 48 thousand 656. Both these diamonds were bought by VS Associate.
154 diamonds weighing 225.72 carats were put up for sale at auction:
The open auction of diamonds received from the shallow diamond mines of Panna was organized by the Diamond Office Panna in the room located at the New Collectorate from February 24. In this auction 154 diamonds weighing 225.72 carats were put up for sale, including the rarest diamond weighing 26.11 carats. Diamond traders from Mumbai, Gujarat (Surat), Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh participated in the auction in large numbers. The center of attraction was the diamond weighing 26.11 carats was not put in the auction on the first day.
