But today we will let you know from an expert how you can lose weight by staying at home and including some things in your diet, so let us know the expert’s advice.
When we talked to Priyanka Jaiswal, co-founder of Diet to Nourish on this topic, she told Local 18 that she gives tips to people above 10 years of age to have a healthy diet. He obtained a master’s degree in Food and Nutrition from Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad. After which he has also worked in many big hospitals of Delhi. He has taken training in hospitals like Max Hospital, Fortis Hospital and AIIMS.
Makhana: He told that for weight loss we must include Makhana in our diet. It is also known as fox nuts. This is a snack which contains very less amount of calories. Therefore, consuming makhana in breakfast is beneficial for reducing weight. You can also roast makhana and eat it. Makhana contains less amount of cholesterol, fat and sodium. Makhana also contains carbohydrates, protein, calcium, magnesium, iron and gluten-free flavonoids. Along with reducing weight, Makhana is also beneficial for digestion and heart health.
Cinnamon: Dietician Priyanka Jaiswal said that for weight loss, definitely include cinnamon in the diet. It boosts metabolism and works to manage blood sugar level. Drink cinnamon tea in the evening. For this, 1 pinch of cinnamon in about 150 ml. Boil it in water and drink it only lukewarm.
Vegetable Salad: Iron, calcium, protein and high fiber are found in raw vegetable salad. Due to its high fiber content, raw vegetable salad is best for weight loss. Include things like lettuce, baby spinach, kale, cucumber, onion, carrot, tomato and green chilli in it. For weight loss, you can make a salad of vegetables of your choice and include them in your diet.
