New Delhi. The Modi government seems to be strengthening its foreign policy to a greater extent than the previous government. With this, India is now seen reducing the dependence on Chinese products. For the last two-three years, along with the government of India, the common Indian has also reduced the consumption of Chinese products. After all this, now the government of India seems to be increasing its inclination towards America instead of importing from China. In this series, America has become the second largest partner of India in the last year 2021-22. All this is a sign of the strengthening of Indo-US relations. The biggest thing that is coming out is that it is being shown that now America has left China behind in terms of India’s trade.
A data released by the Ministry of Commerce clearly shows that the US and India’s bilateral trade has reached $119.42 billion in the fiscal year 2021-22. In the previous financial year 2020-21, it was only $ 80.51 billion. This data shows that the trade between America and India is increasing day by day.
America won, China remained behind
The figures released by the Ministry of Commerce may surprise China. On the other hand, this figure is proving the strengthening of Indo-US relations. The released data shows that India-China bilateral trade stood at $115.42 billion in the year 2021-22, which was $86.4 billion in 2020-21. India’s exports to China have seen a marginal increase during this year. Which has reached $21.25 billion.
