It has been alleged in the report that in the total budget of agriculture, the budget has been reduced for 4 consecutive years.
Let us inform that Abhay Dubey alleged that the government did not purchase wheat from the farmers. Significantly, the central government had decided to ban wheat exports with immediate effect under the pressure of inflation. Regarding the issuance of the notification banning this export, it was also said that the exporters who have already contracted for export, will be allowed to send wheat abroad.
Regarding wheat export, it has been said on behalf of the government that keeping in mind the food security or needs of another country, wheat can be exported there with the permission of the government. It has been said that such export will depend on the request of the Government of the said country.
