Kosi river in Bihar is in spate these days. In such a situation, the bridge being built on the Kosi river was washed away in Bhagalpur on Saturday. Due to which people have vented their anger on CM Nitish Kumar. Let us tell you that a 6.94 km long four-lane bridge is being built on the Kosi river. At the same time, Afcon, the company that built this bridge, has suffered a loss of about Rs 3 crore due to the overflowing of the river.
Due to this, people have started calling Nitish Kumar on social media instead of good governance Babu. Another user Prakash (@bapuhube) wrote, “The contractor will get money again, DM will get commission, MLA will get commission, executive engineer will get commission.” The problem is only common man will have to bear.
Vaibhav (@vaib_says) wrote, “This is the second time this is happening in the same district within a year, what is this happening.” Another user wrote, “Bihar Vikas Model from Nitish Kumar.”
Let us tell you that one leg of this bridge got washed away in the strong current of Kosi river on Saturday near Trimuhan Ghat of Hario. According to the information, the water level of Kosi started increasing from June 10. After this, the flow of water was seen in the Kosi river from June 12. At the same time, 10 lakh 34 thousand cusecs of water has been released in the last 14 hours. This is believed to be the main reason for the bridge’s paya flowing.
At the same time, the bridge construction project manager informed that a seven kilometer long major bridge over is being built on the Kosi river. About Rs 828 crore will be spent on the construction of the bridge. Instead of the flowing paya, another paya will be made.
How CM Nitish got the title of good governance babu: In fact, after the removal of RJD rule in the state, Nitish Kumar as Chief Minister in Bihar started tightening the police administration and cracking down on crime. Due to which the crime graph started decreasing in Bihar. Improvements were also visible at the ground level. Since then, Nitish Kumar has been called ‘good governance’ Babu.
