Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy has described late Congress leader Rajiv Gandhi as a dynamic Prime Minister. He made this remark on Saturday (May 22, 2022) on the occasion of the death anniversary of the former PM. Interestingly, he is praising a veteran face of the opposition party when he has long been critical of his own party’s firebrand leader and incumbent Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Swamy has questioned Modi and his leadership in the recent years regarding the working style, strategy and decisions of the BJP-NDA.
What and in what context did Swamy say on Rajiv?: Former Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy made a tweet on the micro-blogging platform Twitter, “The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Alum (LTTE) killed Rajiv Gandhi on this day in the year 1991. was given. That leader was a dynamic PM. I reached Chennai on January 29, 1991. After the dismissal of the DMK government, I went there to oversee as the Cabinet Minister for Law and Justice. At that time all the people of LTTE had disappeared!! I looked for them too. Now he is nowhere!
