Every effort is being made to free the country from the corona epidemic across the country. Vaccination drives are being run by the central government across the country, in which it is being ensured to vaccinate more and more non-diabetic people. So far, vaccines from Covaccine and Covishield and Pfizer and Moderna are being given in the country. However, now the name of another vaccine has been added to it. The central government has approved the 3-dose corona vaccine of the pharma company Zydus Cadila. The name of this new vaccine of the company is ZyCov-D.
Generic claims company Cadila Healthcare Ltd had applied to the government on July 1 for emergency approval of the ZyCov-D vaccine. It has been said by the company that the vaccine is completely safe for all people aged 12 to 18 years. If the vaccine is approved after emergency use, then this vaccine will be India’s second indigenous vaccine.
Before this, Bharat Biotech and ICMR together produced India’s first indigenous corona vaccine, Covaccine. After getting approval for Cadila’s ZyCov-D, there will be a total of five vaccines in India. Let us tell you that it has already been said by Cadila that after getting the approval, the vaccine can be launched in just two months.
