There seems to be a global ruckus after the controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammad by BJP leaders. The foreign ministries of Iran, Kuwait and Qatar have summoned the Indian ambassadors present in their country and sought answers. The Qatar government also welcomed the suspension of BJP spokespersons Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal. The Indian envoys told the governments of the three countries that the controversial tweets do not reflect the views of the Indian government.
According to a report, the Foreign Ministry of Qatar called Indian Ambassador Dr. Deepak Mittal and handed over the official note to him. In this, the BJP spokesperson protested the remarks made on Prophet Mohammad. After this, the Indian Embassy in Qatar issued a statement. Said- The tweets that are being talked about are not the views of the Government of India.
It should be noted that in a news debate, BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma had allegedly made objectionable remarks on Prophet Mohammed, which the Muslim community is constantly opposing. After that another spokesperson Naveen Jindal also said objectionable. A case has also been registered against Nupur in many states including Maharashtra. Along with Naveen, he was also suspended by BJP for six years today.
On being summoned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, the Indian Ambassador issued a statement –

However, Nupur’s attitude changed as soon as the action was taken. Nupur said that my intention was not to hurt anyone. In the TV debate, controversial words were being spoken against my God, which I could not tolerate. In this fury, I said something objectionable, which I take back unconditionally. Jindal also tweeted supporting Nupur’s statement. Today Jindal has said that his remarks were not intended to hurt the religious sentiments of any community.
In a statement issued by the BJP, it has been said that in the 75th year of independence, the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat is continuously getting stronger. Our first priority is Akhand Bharat and development. We are working continuously so that the unity of the country remains.
Congress says that BJP should make a mistake and India should apologize. What kind of culture is this? The party says that the BJP has taken this action under the pressure of the Middle East. Our business is connected with these countries, from there we get oil. The party said that it would have been better if the voice was being raised against it in the country, only then action would have been taken against Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal.
