Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will be conducted in 554 cities for admission to undergraduate courses in 86 universities of the country including Delhi University (DU). The examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) will start from July 15. The exam will be computer based (CBT).
According to the information released by the National Examination Agency, apart from 554 cities in the country, this exam will be conducted in 13 cities abroad. The exam will be held on July 15, 16, 19 and 20 and on August 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10. So far 9,50,804 candidates have applied for CUET. Admission will be done on the basis of this examination in undergraduate courses of central universities. Soon the admit cards of the students for this examination will be issued which can be downloaded from the NTA website.
Student who missed the exam in COVID will get a chance again: DU
The University of Delhi (DU) announced that it will conduct re-examinations (internal) for those students of undergraduate and postgraduate courses who could not take the exams in May-June due to COVID-19 and other reasons. According to a notification issued by Delhi University, the process of registration for these exams will start from June 29.
The university had conducted the examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in May-June. For the first time in the era of Corona epidemic, the university took the examinations in the campus (offline mode). However, some students could not take the exam due to various reasons including COVID-19. According to Delhi University, about 97 percent students had given the examinations.
DSEU started the admission process
Delhi University of Skills and Entrepreneurship (DSEU) has started the process of admission to undergraduate and diploma courses for the academic year (2022-2023). The university started the admission process with 15 full-time diploma programs, two part-time diploma programs and 16 undergraduate programs (except B.Tech). This time the university has added four new major courses in 16 undergraduate programs which also include Library Science, Optometry, Hospital Management and BBA.
UGC-NET 2022 dates announced
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced the dates for UGC-NET 2022. The dates for conduct of examinations by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the combined cycles of UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 are 08, 09, 11, 12 July, 2022 and 12, 13, 14 August, 2022 Huh. Generally, NET exam is conducted twice a year by NTA.
Last year, due to the horrific outbreak of Corona epidemic, the conduct of UGC NET exam was canceled in December 2021. After this, the UGC, along with NTA, had decided to conduct the June 2022 session examination as well as the pending examination of December 2021.
IGNOU will make online MBA, MCA
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will conduct MBA and MCA courses online and through Open and Distance Learning Mode (ODL) in the academic session 2022-23. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has approved to conduct MBA and MCA courses online and through Open and Distance Learning Mode (ODL). Based on this, IGNOU has announced admission to MBA and MCA program online and through Open and Distance Learning Mode (ODL) for July session 2022-23. Candidates can fill the online application form till 31st July.
