Congress President Sonia Gandhi is admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. He had to go to the hospital due to health problems caused by Corona. Giving health update of Sonia Gandhi on Friday, the Congress party said that on June 12, 2022, she suddenly started bleeding heavily from her nose, after which she was taken to the hospital.
The Congress said that party president Sonia Gandhi is undergoing treatment at Delhi’s Sir Ganga Ram Hospital after she contracted a fungal infection of her respiratory tract following a COVID-19 infection. The All India Congress Committee (AICC) said in its statement that Sonia Gandhi is being treated for infection and post-Covid symptoms. He is under the supervision of doctors and his treatment is going on. According to Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, on Thursday (June 16), Sonia Gandhi’s health had deteriorated and she had difficulty in breathing.
The Congress President is usually treated at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital under physician Dr. Arup Basu. Both Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are constantly going to meet Sonia Gandhi in the hospital. Sonia Gandhi was infected with Corona on 2 June 2022. Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala had told that he had mild fever and some other symptoms of corona infection, after which he had isolated himself.
On the other hand, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will now be questioned on Monday in the National Herald case. On Rahul’s appeal, the agency has postponed the interrogation for three days. Rahul was to reach the ED office on Friday (17 June 2022), but due to Sonia Gandhi’s ill health, he had asked to postpone the inquiry.
Appearing in ED on June 23: Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued summons to Congress President in a money laundering case related to National Herald and asked him to appear for questioning on June 23, 2022. Sonia Gandhi was earlier asked to appear on June 8, but she was asked to give a new date to appear before the probe agency as she was infected with the coronavirus.
