Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik, who surrounded the central government since the time of the farmers’ agitation, said during an interview that he would talk about all the issues only after retiring. Let us tell you that Satyapal Malik is retiring on 30 September. Satya Pal Malik had alleged that when he was the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, he was offered hundreds of crores of rupees to sign two files.
Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik gave an interview to Dainik Bhaskar, in which the journalist asked him that you have been transferred four times in the last 8 years. What would you say on this? Responding to this, Satyapal Malik said that he will not say anything about it now, will speak after retirement. He said that he would not take part in electoral politics in the future, but would continue to take part in the movements.
Regarding opposing the central government, Satyapal Malik said that I have not spoken anything against him. Rather, I have spoken in favor of the government. Had he listened to me, today the farmers would have cheered him. Satya Pal Malik has opposed the central government’s ambitious plan Agneepath scheme and has appealed to the government to withdraw it.
Satyapal Malik had said a few days ago about the Agneepath scheme, “I am saying fix the children (Agneepath scheme) quickly, it is not good. If dissatisfied boys go to the army, then they will have a rifle in their hand, it will have a direction, do not know where to go? The central government lives in a lot of arrogance. Maybe something worse than this, then come on the backfoot.”
At the same time, regarding his removal, Satyapal Malik had said, “I have resignation in my pocket since the first time I spoke. The day the signal is received from Modi ji, they will not have to be removed. Just say that I feel uncomfortable with you. I will leave that day.”
