BJP National President JP Nadda fiercely targeted the opponents in the national seminar organized in New Delhi on the topic ‘Dynastic political party threat to democratic rule’. Nadda said, “There is PDP and National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir, Shiromani Akali Dal in Punjab, INLD in Haryana, Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh, RJD in Bihar, Didi-nephew party in West Bengal.
He said that Congress is no longer national, neither Indian nor democratic. This too has become a brother-sister party. He said that after Babu ji became old in Jharkhand, the son took over the party. Biju Janata Dal in Odisha, YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh, TRS in Telangana, Karunanidhi family in Tamil Nadu, Shiv Sena and NCP in Maharashtra are all family parties.
The National President of BJP said, “Political party is an important tool in a democratic system. If it is healthy, then democracy is healthy. If it is unhealthy, then democracy is unhealthy. So we should keep in mind our working method, democratic values, thought process of the organization”.
The regional parties have been gradually captured by some. Now the ideologies in the regional parties have gone to the side and families have come to the fore. They have to come to power by any means, so they do not lag behind in polarizing.
JP Nadda said that regional parties do not lag behind in doing polarization to come to power. Then that polarization should be on any basis. Either on the basis of religion or on the basis of caste. National issues are not taken into account. He said that BJP is taking the first place of nationalist forces in Punjab, so it is necessary that all the people having nationalist views should join BJP and strengthen the party.
On the other hand, former Punjab Congress President Sunil Jakhar has joined the BJP on Thursday (May 19, 2022) after resigning from the party. JP Nadda said, “I welcome Sunil Jakhar to the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is a seasoned political leader who has carved a niche for himself during his political career. I am sure he will play a big role in strengthening the BJP in Punjab.”
