The statements of leaders and religious leaders have started coming on the Gyanvapi Masjid dispute and politics has also started intensifying. The Muslim side claims that what the Hindu side is calling Shivling is a fountain. At the same time, the Mahant of Kashi Vishwanath temple has announced that he will file a new case and will demand from the court that he should be allowed to worship at the place of Shivling. Also Jagadguru Paramhans has written a letter to PM Modi, in which he has demanded to abolish the 1991 Act.
Acharya Jagadguru Paramhans has written a letter to PM Modi demanding the repeal of the Worship Act of 1991. Jagadguru Paramhans said, “We have written to the respected Prime Minister Modi demanding that the 1991 Place of Worship Act be abolished. The law made by the British should be abolished by amending the constitution.
At the same time, Mahant VC of Kashi Vishwanath temple, Tiwari is also going to file a new case in the court. He said, “It is simple, I am going to file a new case in the court that I am the Mahant of Kashi Vishwanath temple and it is my right to worship Shiva and keep Baba.” At the same time, BJP MP from Barabanki Upendra Singh Rawat has also said that Gyanvapi Masjid is not a new case. Rather, there are many cases in which a mosque has been built after demolishing the temple.
On the other hand, Maulana Tauqir Raza has called for Jail Bharo Andolan from Muslims. He said, “In every single district across the country, 2 lakh Muslims should gather and give arrest under the Jail Bharo Andolan. Jail Bharo Andolan will be launched across the country. If nothing is done on Gyanvapi, then there will be a ban like Babri. Some people are not able to understand the difference between fountain and Shivling. Such people are insulting Hinduism.”
Along with this, Maulana Tauqir Raza warned the central government and said that if there is courage, then demolish the Taj Mahal and Red Fort. They only want to hurt our sentiment, so the mosque is being targeted.
