Amidst the ongoing Gyanvapi mosque-temple controversy in the country, Islamic scholar Maulana Sajid Rashidi said that Muslims have no relation with the Mughals and this is the truth. At the same time, he also asked a question about the Babri Masjid, on which political analyst Sangeet Ragi got furious.
During a TV debate, the anchor questioned the Islamic scholar that the Hindu side claims that Muslims say that they have no relation with the Mughals, but when there is a debate about a monument, they go in favor of the mosque which the Mughals built. Made it, what is it? To this Rashidi said, “We have no relation with the Mughals. There is no doubt about it. Secondly, if the Mughals were invaders and they built a mosque by destroying the temple, then when they (Hindus) destroyed the Babri Masjid in broad daylight, wouldn’t they be called an invader?
On this Sangeet Ragi got furious and said, “Not at all because that was our land. It was our temple, which was demolished. This should have happened only after 1947. The number of mosques that were built by demolishing Hindu temples, should have been given to the Muslim society by itself. How can you call us invaders?”
Significantly, the issue of Gyanvapi mosque-temple in Varanasi has now reached the queens of the Mughals. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has further heated up the politics by giving a big statement in this matter. He said that the Muslims of India have no relation with the Mughals, but tell who were the wives of the Mughal emperors. Hindus have not only been furious at his statement, but Muslim religious leaders have also expressed their displeasure.
Let us inform that in the Gyanvapi Masjid case, the Varanasi District Court has given the next date after hearing the arguments of both the sides. Now on May 26, the court will hear the matter. According to the information, the court will first hear the demand of the Muslim side. Apart from this, the court also told both the parties that if any party has any objection to the report of the Survey Commission, then they can register their objection before the next hearing. At the same time, during the hearing on Tuesday (May 24, 2022), the National President of Hindu Sena gave an impeachment application in the Varanasi District Court. It said that the Gyanvapi Masjid should be shifted to some other place and the mosque premises should be given to the devotees of Lord Shiva for worship.
