Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday attended the launch of a book on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s political journey titled ‘Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery’. Shah, who is considered very close to PM Modi, also mentioned many aspects of his personality during this time. Talking about the sensitivity of the Prime Minister, Shah narrated an incident involving a peacock.
He said that once a meeting was going on in the PM’s office on a serious subject when a peacock started pecking at the glass wall. He did this continuously for two-three minutes. After seeing this, the PM rang the bell and told his employees that he is hungry, feed him. The then BJP President Amit Shah praised the PM for spotting the problem with the activities.
He continued his point by saying, “Thinking about the peacock, even after being busy in such a serious meeting, shows how sensitive he is.” Apart from Amit Shah, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar were also present in this book release program.

He said that the Modi government always takes decisions in the interest of the country and for the benefit of the people. PM Modi always thinks for dalit, backward, tribal. PM Modi has immense love, immeasurable sensitivity for those people.
Shah said that if you want to understand the journey from poverty to becoming the PM, then Modi has to be seen from a holistic perspective.
