International Yoga Day will be celebrated all over the world on Tuesday (June 21). On this occasion, PM Modi has appealed to the people to make it a success. PM Modi himself will lead a mass yoga program at the Mysore Palace grounds in Karnataka.
PM Modi will be accompanied by 15,000 more people who will participate in this program with him. The event will begin with Modi’s speech at around 5:30 am on Tuesday, followed by a yoga session that will be held between 7 am and 7.45 am. The PM tweeted and said- “Tomorrow i.e. June 21 will be celebrated as International Yoga Day. This time the event will be held under the theme of ‘Yoga for Humanity’. Let us all together make it a success and increase the popularity of yoga further”.
The theme of this year’s Yoga Day celebrations is ‘Yoga for Humanity’. Around 250 million people around the world are expected to participate in the various events.

BJP national president JP Nadda will attend a yoga session in Noida, while Home Minister Amit Shah will attend a yoga program in Delhi. BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said that since the country is celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, BJP will organize yoga programs at 75,000 places. In this program, from BJP MPs, MLAs, ministers, CMs to almost all senior officials will be present.
