This test can be given in eight different cities of the country including Delhi NCR. The university will conduct this exam from May 15 to 30.
Engineering entrance exam will be held in two phases
The first phase of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, to be conducted for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, has been scheduled in April and the second phase in May. According to the National Examination Agency (NTA), the first phase of JEE Main has been scheduled from April 16 to 21 and the second phase from May 24 to 29. Online applications have started for the first phase examination and 31 March is the last date of application.
This year, the application fee for BE-BTech under JEE Main has been fixed at Rs 650 for general, OBC and EWS students and Rs 325 for SC-ST and all other categories and girl students. At the same time, for such students who want to apply for B.Arch along with BE-B.Tech, the examination fee for them is Rs 1,300 for general, OBC and EWS students and Rs 650 for SC-ST and all category girls. This time while filling the online application form, candidates need to keep in mind that this year NTA will not give any chance for correction in the application form. NTA has made it clear that they will be debarred from the examination if there is any mistake in the application form. To increase the security, NTA has made provision of OTP twice while filling the application form this year.
Delhi University to start three B.Tech courses
Delhi University (DU) will start three new BTech courses in the coming days. At the same time, courses in management and economics will be started in the School of Open Learning (SOL). DU is also going to celebrate 100 years of its establishment. It will start with the issuance of designated postage stamps and coins of the University.
