Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar has made it clear that he cannot lead a non-BJP front or the UPA. He said that he would continue to help the opposition.
Sharad Pawar said about taking leadership against BJP- “Recently, some young workers of our party passed a resolution asking me to become the President of UPA. But I am not interested in that post at all. I’m not going to fall into it. I will not take that responsibility”. Along with this, Sharad Pawar has also made it clear that if any option is tried against BJP, then he is ready to cooperate, support and strengthen it. But will not lead.
Regarding the front against the BJP, Pawar said that the Congress may not be in power yet, but it has a presence across the country. He said- “You will find Congress workers in every village, district and state. The fact is that it is necessary to involve the Congress while offering an alternative.
Along with this, targeting the BJP, Pawar said that only one party should not rule the country. This creates a dictatorship. The condition of the country will become like Russia. We don’t want India to have such a Putin.
Sharad Pawar further said that in today’s date inflation is a major issue in the country. Oil prices are increasing day by day under Modi government. This is affecting not only the common people. Due to this the prices of commodities are increasing. At the same time, it is also contributing in increasing the cost of transportation.
Let us tell you that after the support of Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, the demand to make Sharad Pawar the President of UPA has been increasing for some time. Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is said to have asked Sharad Pawar to come forward to lead the UPA in a meeting.
