Politics is getting intense in the case of Delhi BJP leader Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga being arrested by the Punjab Police. On Sunday, Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga said that he does not intend to physically harm Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He said that instead of busting the drug trade, the Punjab Police was showing interest in taking action against them.
Speaking to The Indian Express on Sunday, Bagga said, “He was arrested for making a tweet. In which it was said that he will not let Kejriwal live. But I have no intention of harming them physically.” “An FIR has been registered against me, according to which I wanted to kill Kejriwal,” Bagga said.
He said that I only said that till he apologizes (for his statement on Kashmir files), I will not let him live in peace. It does not mean that I intend to physically harm them.
Let us inform that on Saturday, the Punjab and Haryana High Court, giving relief to Bagga, has stayed his arrest till May 10. On the other hand, Bagga targeted Arvind Kejriwal saying that Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal considers himself bigger than Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. Bagga said this in a conversation with CNN-News 18.
Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga said that I am taking legal aid. He said that he will not apologize to Kejriwal. Bagga said that Kejriwal was very scared, and could not sleep at night. That is why the CM of Delhi had taken such action against him. Bagga has thanked the Punjab and Haryana High Court for giving legal relief till May 10.
Let us tell you that Punjab’s AAP leader Sunny Ahluwalia had accused Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga of making provocative and false statements in Mohali to incite religious sentiments, to create disharmony in the society, to promote hatred and rancor. Due to this, a case was registered against Bagga under sections 153-A, 505 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
On May 6, BJP leader Bagga was arrested by the Punjab Police from his home in Delhi, but in Kurukshetra, Haryana, the Punjab Police team was intercepted by the Haryana Police and handed over to the Delhi Police. Later, Bagga was brought back to Delhi by the Delhi Police.
