New rules issued by the Union Ministry, will be monitored using modern equipment

The traffic rules have been made even more strict by the government across India. The person violating the traffic rules will now be recorded online for violating the rules, after which his challan will be issued within 15 days. Keeping in mind the amendment in the traffic rules in the states, now e-challan will be sent to the person violating the rules.

The ministry said that information about the crime would be sent within 15 days of the incident. This electronic record will be kept until that invoice is paid. For this, the state government has been instructed by the ministry that in major cities where the population is more than one million, all state highways, national highways and new important warning signs will be clearly installed. It was informed by the Ministry that the objective of the Motor Vehicle Act is to reduce the violation of traffic rules across the country and bring transparency in the enforcement of traffic rules.

The government said that speed cameras, closed-circuit television cameras, dashboard cameras, automatic number plate recognition, weigh-in machines, etc. will be used for electronic record keeping.
