UP- In UP’s Prayagraj, there was maximum violence regarding this matter. In this case, now the administration has broken the house of the main accused with a bulldozer. More than 300 people have been arrested in connection with the violence in UP.
Delhi- On Friday, there was a protest after the Namaz near Jama Masjid in Delhi. This demonstration was done without the permission of the administration. Police has arrested two people in this case. At the same time, the Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid says that he was not aware of this demonstration. No one was called from the mosque. Police should take strict action against such people.
Tension continues on Sunday after the violence that erupted in Jharkhand-Ranchi on Friday. However, internet service has now been restored here. In view of the tension, the deployment of security forces in Ranchi and surrounding areas continues even today. Curfew has also been imposed in many areas. The police have registered a case against five thousand unknown people in connection with the violence. There are two dozen named accused in this. Many people were injured and two died in this violence.

This whole controversy started after former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma’s comment which she gave during a TV channel debate regarding Prophet Mohammad. Violence took place in Kanpur city of Uttar Pradesh after his statement. The BJP appeared to be on the backfoot regarding this whole matter and all the opposition parties surrounded it, making this issue an issue. As a result, BJP had to show Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal the way out of the party. After which, after Friday prayers on June 10, people from Delhi to Bengal and Telangana, in more than 10 states including Nupur Sharma, had expressed strong protest against that remark of Nupur Sharma.
