Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in the BJP’s national executive meeting on Friday, 20 May in a virtual way. During this, he said, “Today there are governments of the Bharatiya Janata Party in 18 states of the country, the party has more than 400 MPs and even after years in the Rajya Sabha, it is going to touch the figure of 100, but even after this, there is no need to sit in peace.” We have no right.”
Addressing the inaugural session of the three-day meeting of BJP national office bearers through video conference, PM Modi said that those who have laid down their lives for the country and the party do not allow BJP workers to rest. He said, “Such a good victory of BJP is hoisting the flag but even today, we are impatient and restless because our real goal is to take India to the height which was dreamed by those who gave their lives for the country’s freedom,” he said.
The Prime Minister said that in the last few years there has been a special feeling about India in the world. He said that in the same way, the people of the country also have a special attachment towards the BJP and are watching it with great hope. The Prime Minister said that due to the aspirations of the people of the country, the responsibility of a political party like BJP also increases a lot.
Referring to the 25 years left in the journey of the 100th anniversary of independence, Modi said that the expectations of the people of the country, we have to fulfill them. The challenges that the country is facing, we have to overcome them together with the people of the country. We have to move forward with the determination of victory.
The Prime Minister said that before 2014, there was an atmosphere of despair among the people of the country and their hopes from the governments were over, but in the general elections held in 2014, the people of the country decided to write a new history. He said, “After 2014, BJP has brought the country out of this thinking. There is no sense of despair in the country today, it is an era of hope and expectation. Today the people of India are full of aspirations.
The PM said, “Today every citizen of India wants results and wants to see the governments working. He wants to get results before his eyes.” He said, “Apart from political gain and loss, I consider it a huge positive change in the public mind.”
He said, “If we had to enjoy the power, then in a vast country like India, one can think, oh so many achievements have been achieved, now sit down, relax, but no, this path is not for us. We do not accept this path at all.”
